“Hidden Gem”
My friend and I went on what started out to be a day trip that turned into a two day stay at the beautiful Lighthouse Cottages. This was September 27, 2009 and the weather could not have been more beautiful for that time of year. My friend had stayed here previously and wanted to show me the area and once we arrived we knew we wanted to stay at least one night. The cabin was well kept and the kitchenette well stocked, a cozy rocking chair by the large picture window to sit in and watch the sun go down over the ocean and watch it come up in the morning. Since we had not planned on an overnight stay, we didn’t have much in the line of food with us. The lady in the office was very kind and gave us a packet of coffee and some milk and we picked up some breakfast items at the nearby Co-op. We went for a stroll along the beautiful white sand beach and came back over the boardwalk and took in the beautiful sunset. There’s a picnic table and wooden lawn chair outside every cabin to sit out and enjoy the scenery. I have not one negative thing to say about these cabins and I’d recommend them to everyone I know.
