COVID-19 Update

To our guests,

We will be opening for the 2020 season on June 12. The health, safety and well-being of our employees and guests is our top priority and we are following the lead of Canadian public health authorities. We are committed to providing a safe and relaxing experience at Lighthouse Cottages.

We are taking all appropriate measures to ensure safety, including:

  • Introducing enhanced cleaning protocols per the TIANS Clean It Right program, in which staff have been trained and certified
  • providing a sanitizing hand rub dispenser in the office
  • revised office procedures (1 guest at a time in the office)
  • sanitizing all surfaces in the office and public laundry room twice daily
  • increasing communications and reminders with our guests and employees on important health and safety measures.

To protect yourself and others, we ask that anyone who is feeling unwell refrain from visiting us so that together we can ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone. As a reminder, we ask that you maintain social distancing protocols. Please note, guests are responsible for bringing hand sanitizer for their own personal use.

Given the fluidity of the situation we will continue to assess ongoing measures. We encourage our guests to stay up-to-date through Canada’s Public Health website.
